Toronto Club Review: Maro

Located at 135 Liberty St, in Liberty Village.

It’s a walk away from the new BMO soccer field, and Muzic nightclub.  The surrounding area is growing like crazy - buy a condo here!
This club is by the same owners as the classy Branthouse and Zubar club in Burlington. Dress code is pretty strict and jeans with great collared shirt will get you in.  Huge venue as it used to be a warehouse. I like the design of the place inside; I find it modern and polished.

It’s a higher quality club, but that means higher quality girls - bring your A-game or B+ at least.

I noticed that a lot of people from southern Ontario come here to party.  I’ve met crowds of girls from Cambridge and Guelph.  You’ll bump into these people more because of the size of the place, and it’s a good opportunity to show them around.

The music might be a little loud, but this venue is perfect for dance game.  Body language is king here and so is eye contact.  If you want to talk with a girl, bring her downstairs to the couches and chat her up.

Venue change locations would be china town.

Maro is much cleaner and classier than a lot of clubs in the traditional Richmond Street area - you won’t see the crazy fights or mobs of people here.
